Fire Safety Information
Dwell ensures smoke detectors are installed and functioning in your home. Tenants are responsible for replacing batteries in their smoke alarms which will be discussed as part of your tenancy agreement.
Dwell Responsibilities
Maintain compliance with smoke alarms.
Plan evacuation schemes and host regular training for complexes with Evac schemes.
Tenant Responsibilities
Create a personal household plan with a getaway kit.
Follow all evacuation procedures that apply for your complex.
Keep escape routes and exit pathways in your home clear.
Assist and alert your neighbours if you are able to.
Participate in fire drills when required.
Report all fire, emergencies and hazards to Dwell as soon as practical
