🎨 What’s Involved?
Create your own artwork: You’ll decorate one of 18 colourful circles on the wall—either through painting or mosaic.
Workshops: Join up to four fun and supportive workshops (2 hours each) where you’ll brainstorm, sketch, and bring your ideas to life.
Themes: We’ll explore what aroha means to each of us—how we show love to our whānau, community, and environment.
Guidance: Artist Cecily Guarrera and mosaic facilitator Rachel Silver will be there to support you every step of the way.
🧒 Who Can Join?
Tenants of all ages are welcome.
Children aged 10+ can participate with whānau support.
No experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!
🕒 Time Commitment
Around 8 hours total, spread across 4 sessions.
We’ll provide all materials, plus tea, coffee, and biscuits!

31st October - Planning session
7 November – First outdoor making/painting session
14 November – Second outdoor making/painting session
21 November – Third outdoor making/painting session
28 November – Backup day (in case of rain or for final touch-ups by the organisers)
